It’s getting colder outside, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop grilling! This week Jen and Sue show you some of their favorite ways to get their grill on and stay nice and warm indoors!

Recipes:
Shrimp Kabobs
Grilled Venison Medallions
Caprase Salad

What type of grills did we use?
We used a tabletop grill and a coated cast iron grill pan.

Tips for grilling indoors:

* If you have a cast iron grill pan, don’t be afraid of using medium high heat.
* If you have a non-stick grill pan, stick with medium heat.
* If you have a wet marinade, be sure to blot your meat before grilling.
* If you are using a tomato based or more sticky marinade, leave some on the meat to caramelize and add flavor!
* Be sure you have good ventilation! Open the windows (if it’s not too cold!) or use your vent-a-hood to make sure your room doesn’t get too smoky. If there is too much smoke, turn down the heat a little bit.
