2 lbs Beef Short Ribs
2 onions, sliced
1 can Guinness or other Irish stout beer
1 box beef broth
Salt and Pepper to taste

Heat 2 tsp oil in a skillet and heat over high heat. Add ribs and brown on all sides.
Place ribs into crock pot and cover with onions.
Add beer and broth and seasonings.
Cook on low for up to 12 hours.
Remove from slow cooker onto serving platter and allow to rest for at least 10 minutes before serving.
