1/2 C Unflavored Protein Powder + 1/2 C Sugar Substitute (OR 1/2 C Vanilla Protein Powder + 1/4 C Sugar Substitute)
1/2 C Gluten Free Baking Mix
1 C ground almond meal
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
no-sugar-added pie filling (we used cherry)
1 tsp vanilla

Pre-heat oven to 325

Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
Spoon into donut pan or mini-muffin tin.
Bake.
Muffin Bites: 10-12 minutes
Donuts: 12-15 minutes
**After the first time, check by inserting a toothpick or knife into the donut/bites. If it comes out clean, they are done. If there is batter on it, leave until second time given.**

Icing:
1 package cream cheese, softened
1/2 C sucralose or stevia
1 tsp vanilla
splash heavy cream or milk to thin a bit

Mix all ingredients with hand mixer or in standing mixer until well combined. If needed, add more sweetener to taste or more liquid to thin to get the flavor and consistancy you desire.
