Oh my WORD my world is changing right and left!
So many good things are happening, but good things bring change and shifts.
So, here’s what’s going on …
We’ve (my family and I) have moved.
It’s only across town, but any move is a huge change.
Packing, unpacking, cleaning, moving … it’s EXHAUSTING!
But it’s a good thing!
Our home is bigger, more spacious, newer, cleaner, and in much better shape.
We are excited that we will be able to entertain more and to bring people into our home to bless them!
We are equally excited that some of our next few videos will be recorded in our new home!

In addition to moving, my husband and I have been in a band (Casting Out) that has recently started making great strides toward growing! We have several bookings throughout the summer and fall and even have a new original song out on iTunes, CD Baby, and other media outlets! You can check out our new single “Lift Me Highhere!

All in all, these changes are so good and positive. I feel like God is truly blessing our little family and our ministry.
So how does this pertain to food, nutrition, and WLS?
Well, a LOT actually.

You see, it’s very easy to get off track when life is chock full of activities and “stuff”.
I almost have several times.
But … I felt that I needed to keep my eating in check. I knew that my energy level was imperative for success in ALL the above endeavors. I knew that if I wasn’t taking good care of myself, I wouldn’t be able to do anything that God had planned for me.
So, I’ve been back on Low-carb/high fat (ketogenic) eating.
I’ve tried to move every single day, either walking, yoga, or just dancing around the room.
I’ve upped my water intake.
And I’ve tried to take some time for myself.
(Did I mention, I finally have a bathtub? I took my first bath in four years the other night and it was G L O R I O U S!)

So, all in all, friends, remember that when things get hectic, you need to remember to take care of yourself!
Keep on you plan. Move your body. Drink your water. And be sweet to yourself!

Love you all!
