Eggs are an amazing protein to have on hand. A lot of bariatric patients don’t keep boiled eggs on hand because they just don’t know how to do it! Here’s how WE do it!



Put your eggs into a saucepan or stockpot.
Cover with cold water.
Bring to a boil over meduim heat.
Remove from heat and put a lid on the pot.
Allow to sit for 15 minutes off the heat.
Remove the lid and add cold water to the pan until the hot water is replaced with cold water.
Crack the eggs and set them back into the water for a minute or two.
Peel and eat or store in the refrigerator in a covered container for a day or two!
